Wuh? Huh?

The pixelated aesthetic of this site is unrefined and chronically unfinished. I don’t believe that the internet should ever have round corners (if the squircle has no haters than know that I am dead) and I try to build this site to reflect that. A website is an interface between the spacial-visual parts of your brain and the pure data on the server. It should pretend to be a navigable space, and pretend to act like a physical object, while both you and it acknowledge that lie.

The font I write with is Basiic Basiic by Cinni.net. This background stars gif comes from a site called Zoe Online, according to the metadata of the first file I found here. I haven’t been able to find Zoe Online, but if you have any information on her whereabouts or the continuation of her website please let me know. Thank you Cinni!! Thank you Zoe!!! <3

Also it’s 2026, we can all acknowledge that JavaScript was a mistake but even so it’s ok if I’m using it to make cute shooting stars and snowflakes and such. The shooting stars script was based off of a cursor effect script by mf2fm (and not, for whatever reason, their comet effect script) but mostly written by me. The phases of the moon were taken from frames of this gif showcasing the phases of the moon on Wikipedia. Most of my image editing is done in gimp, but I love to use LibreSprite for pixel editing and gif timings, like for my button and penny blinking dot gif.

This place is still a bit of a mess, so I’m going to leave my old blog posts at the bottom of this page for safekeeping.
